Mobile Rip-Off

Mobile phone inventor Martin Cooper [born 1929]

"Canadians pay about 11 cents per minute, on average, to use their cellphones, almost double the six cents a minute that Americans pay, according to Genuity Capital Markets research. That's one reason cellphones reach only 61% of the population, a lower penetration rate than in other major markets throughout the Western world."
